A Quick List of Simple Solutions! [FiX TRiX]

...A list of must haves overlooked by you most. Solutions so simple, they're silly FiXES.

Neutrogena Deep Wrinkle Filler

-Don't let the name fool you. This is a Retin-A based product, not prescription strength and obviously a lower concentration. Retin-A is prescribed for fine lines, deep wrinkles, sun damage, acne and rejuvenating skin's overall appearance. It is an exfoliant. Use Neutrogena's version for treating these symptoms as well! This stuff is amazing and I really can't believe it's advertised only for the temporary filling of wrinkles. After discovering this product I immediately Googled it's uses/effects and found nothing as far as acne, overall skin appearance or radiance. These are all improved with the use of this product! Now, results are temporary as far as wrinkles and lines go, almost like caulking for grout! It plumps them up temporarily pretty much until your next wash. Give it a shot, I actually prefer this over it's prescription grade sister, as it can't be over used. Everyone's skin type has one thing in common, it longs for radiance and that natural glow we had as children. Use liberally, on freshly cleansed skin, before moisturizer and make-up. It's okay to high five the mirror :]

PRIMER, PRIMER, PRIMER
-Ladies, we all must prime! Use a primer AFTER hydration and before make up application. This can make all of the difference in the world as to how your make up appears on your face, and how smoothly it goes onto your skin. It has a silkening, smoothing effect and basically acts as a veil. This is not a gimmick type product sitting on the shelf as a waste of space, it really makes a difference. Sephora has many to choose from, catering to any and every skin type. I've found that the gel/silky based ones work best on all skin types to create a cashmere palette for flawless foundation application. My Top 2 faves are Sephora brand's Original, clear primer, which happens to be one of the less pricey ones, and Laura Mercier's Silkening Face Primer.

Your fave foundation PLUS a concealer TWO shades
lighter
.
-Some of you may be thinking, DUH! While others may be thinking, "reverse racoon." WRONG! Ladies who already use this trick, good for you. This doesn't work for everyone, but it really adds radiance and a certain brightness to troubled, tired or any skin type that needs a boost. Obviously tone is important. If you have a darker or tan skin tone, you're not going to benefit from using a fair/porcelain concealer. The results will be cringe worthy! Use a concealer, or even a foundation, same tone as your all over foundation choice, just a little lighter. Sometimes 1 shade, sometimes 2. Lightly apply in a tapping motion, under and around eyes in a dabbing motion with a sponge. This technique can also be used with powdered foundation.

Sally Hansen Airbrushed Leg Spray
-You've seen it, you've wondered. Yes, it really is that simple, that quick, and that legit! I said it, and I sprayed it :]

Just a few for you to play with, these will surely add a pick-me-up to your daily make-up/fashion routine! Do it & enjoy!
xxx,
Kat
